Milan Kovanda, executive director
One of the most experienced Czech soldiers. He has been on four foreign missions (once in Kosovo, and 3 times in Afghanistan). He was involved in the transformation of the 22nd Airborne Brigade in Prostějov to the elite 601st Special Forces Group of General Moravec (“Czech Commandos”) between 1992 and 2010. Among other things, he created a training system for this unit and was its commander-in-chief from 2006 to 2010. In 2010, he became the youngest-ever general in the history of the Czech Republic. He holds many Czech and foreign military decorations.
